About You

  • Possess an assured and professional telephone manner
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook etc.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative, making decisions, managing own workload and time, whilst developing effective and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Able to hold suppliers and third parties to account using agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Able to adopt a flexible approach to work
  • Experience of meeting deadlines and dealing with pressure associated with these
  • Self-motivated and tenacious
  • An effective & collaborative team player

Your RoleAs a Logistics & Customer Service Coordinator your role will involve:

  • Liaising with customers regarding fertiliser deliveries and planning daily work to maximise our capacity whilst achieving a high level of service to our customers
  • Developing relationships with 3rd party hauliers, agreeing service requirements, volumes and rates, and following up with end of season haulier performance reviews
  • Coordinating and communicating the availability of fertiliser and seed intake with suppliers / commercial and sales teams
  • Coordinating drivers of both Frontier and 3rd Party vehicles to provide an effective delivery service, across both our seed and fertiliser product range and regional network of product terminals
  • Working with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient planning and execution of the business to meet both customer and supplier requirements
  • Developing industry knowledge, understanding Health & Safety and security procedures to be able to continue to develop logistics solutions for the future
  • Demonstrating strong customer focus with both internal and external customers
  • Managing incoming customer queries and liaising with commercial and admin teams to achieve a swift resolution
