Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marston’s PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing.We are now recruiting for a Logistics Buyer to join us. Reporting to the Country Procurement Manager UK this role will:Key Accountabilities:

• Provide a comprehensive and full buying service to CMBC logistics UK.
• Manage and report on supplier performance, negotiating terms with suppliers when needed.
• Manage and report on supplier performance.
• Manage the requisition, approval and procurement process for logistics activities.
• Timely ordering and monitoring of logistics items – through SAP or Kiosk.
• Raising service PO’s in a timely manner to keep the flow of logistics moving.
• Working with local depot stakeholders to ensure process is followed through to invoice payment – requiring you to work closely with Carlsberg Teams in India & Poland.

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Previous experience working with SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience working with Ariba would be beneficial but not a necessity.
• Previous experience working in an admin role within manufacturing and/or logistics.
• Able to build strong relationships with people in multiple sites across the UK and Europe.
• A desire to exceed internal and external customer needs.
• Ability to adapt effectively to changing needs and conscious to raise standards in the workplace.
• Always exploring new ways of working more effectively with opportunities to add value.
• Confident to work independently and within a team.
• Can handle conflict in a cross functional team -always trying to find routes to positive outcomes.
