- Find creative solutions to the AC+DC loadflow equations
- Identify suitable recent developments in grid-modelling theory
- Implement loadflow solvers on massively parallel hardware (GPUs)
- (Optional) scientific publication of the knowledge gained.
Additional information:
- Work regime: full-time
- Location: Emprereur (occasionally traveling might be required to Berlin)

- Hold a valid residence permit confirming the right of residence in Belgium.
QualificationsRequirements:
- Experience: at least three years +
- Fluent in English. Additional language skills in German, Dutch or French is a plus
- Strong knowledge in AC+DC steady-state grid analysis (Newton-Raphson, Helm, etc.)
- Strong academic background in mathematics and electrical engineering
- Experience in energy modeling system is a bonus
- Experience in parallel programming patterns and massively-parallel hardware (GPU) is a bonus
- Good communication skills
