Where the team fits in

The Lifecycle Marketing Specialist role sits within REA Group’s Financial Services business, as part of the Corporate Communications, Events & Franchise Marketing team. This team delivers essential services to our 1,000 Mortgage Choice brokers around the country – keeping our network engaged and informed, and helping brokers more effectively connect with their clients and communities.

What the role is all about

While no two days will ever be the same, the key responsibilities for the Lifecycle Marketing Specialist will include:

  • Working closely with the Lifecycle Marketing Manager to plan and build the Mortgage Choice client engagement program.

  • Supporting the Lifecycle Marketing Manager in building and sending email campaigns using Hubspot, both at a Group Office level and to enable brokers to send their own marketing emails.

  • Coordinating stakeholder sign off and final approvals of campaigns.

  • Working closely with the News and Content team to brief in and deliver articles that drive audience growth and visits to the Mortgage Choice news site.

  • Developing and delivering continual testing and improvements for Mortgage Choice email communications and content, with the goal of proving incremental uplift in client engagement and lead conversion.

  • Creating reports on the performance of campaigns and sharing learnings and actionable insights with the relevant teams.

  • Taking ownership of a broad suite of customer-facing marketing material and communications – writing and editing, updating and outsourcing to specialist copywriters where required.

  • Working closely with franchise support teams to understand broker and client needs, and developing new marketing materials/updating existing materials to meet those needs.

  • Providing support to and sharing expertise with other teams on best practice in developing content and personalised communications campaigns.

Who we’re looking for

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g. marketing, business)

  • 3+ years experience in a CRM or communications role. Franchise network experience desirable.

  • Strong attention to detail is a must with a passion for delivering quality content aligned to audience needs.

  • Someone technically savvy and strong at all aspects of campaign creation and management.

  • Comfortable using a CRM platform and building data-driven email campaigns – HubSpot experience preferred.

  • Results driven with a strong interest in data and measuring campaign performance with an eye to continuous improvement.

  • Strong problem solver, with a high level of resilience and positivity, who’s willing to step in and provide support for our mortgage brokers.

  • Ability to troubleshoot HTML problems and data issues.

  • Creative mindset and a willingness to experiment – experienced in optimisation testing processes, methodology and best practice

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced and agile environment.
