Link Personnel, on behalf of our Client, are hiring a Legal Secretary. This is a great opportunity for a Legal Secretary with 1-2 years experience who wants to progress their career within a Top Tier Law Firm.   • Administrative and secretarial support to partners, and fee earners within the Commercial team.
  • Responsibility for AML requirements for client onboarding, in accordance with Firm procedures.
  • Manage billing process to include time entry, invoicing, client account balances and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Take ownership of audit/accrual requests for clients.
  • Maintain electronic files, ensuring all records are up to date and easily accessible.
  • Production, editing and formatting of legal documents and templates.
  • Digital dictation.
  • Co-ordinating travel arrangements, meetings and itineraries.
  • Processing Expenses on behalf of fee earners.
  • Maintaining and updating client database.

The Candidate:

  • 1-2 years’ legal secretarial experience, or professional services environment.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Dictaphone typing skills of 65+ words per minute.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Team player, who can also work on their own initiative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
