JS Legal Recruitment are excited to be working with highly regarded law firm based in Colchester, our client a LEXCEL accredited and a Legal 500 recommended practice. My client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Legal Personal Assistant to join their Commercial Property and Agricultural department on a full time basis. The successful candidate will provide support to the head of Commercial Property you will excel in organisation, communication, and discretion, demonstrating the ability to facilitate smooth operations within the directors team.The position
- As an experienced Legal Personal Assistant you will support and organise the directors diary, including arranging meetings, travel
- You will act as a liaison between the director and his team. Assist in managing team dynamics and morale
- Support the director in manging client relationships by scheduling meetings, preparing briefing materials, following up on ongoing cases.
- Assist in monitoring the performance of the team, coordinating reviews, and implementing performance improvement measures on collaboration with the director as well as liaising with the CEO
- Managing the directors personal marketing and business development activities, including coordination of networking events, seminars, handle social media presence
- Document management – Collaborate with legal secretaries and support staff for document preparation, including typing and dictation
The candidate
- Proven experience as a Legal Personal Assistant or similar administrative role within a legal environment
- Strong understanding of the legal profession
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with legal software platforms
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Demonstrate ability to manage social media platforms
- You be proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic
