The School boasts amazing learning spaces with state-of-the-art laboratories, including a new pharmaceutical sciences teaching laboratory, and lecture theatres on the Stag Hill campus in Guildford.As part of our ongoing development and expansion within the School we are seeking to appoint a permanent Lecturer in any area of pharmaceutical or formulation sciences. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably motivated individual to help shape the future of pharmaceutical sciences research and teaching provision within the School.The roleThe primary focus of the role will be to develop a personal research portfolio within pharmaceutical or formulation sciences and in line with the Faculty’s research strategy, to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and to participate in School and Faculty administration. You will be responsible for lectures, tutorials, laboratory classes and project supervision, as well as academic duties including student assessment, marking and pastoral support.About youThe successful candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical or formulation sciences. You will have a PhD in an appropriate field and an emerging track record of high quality publications and income generation. You will be expected to delivering high quality lectures, workshops and practical sessions for undergraduate and particularly taught masters students on programmes across the School, as well as providing pastoral care to students.
