The post holder will also act as a personal tutor to students.Responsibilities as our Lecturer in Aviation and Travel & Tourism will include:

  • To contribute to the development and delivery of all our Aviation, Travel & Tourism courses
  • To contribute to high-quality learning experiences using a variety of teaching and learning methods based on current best available practice
  • To create an outstanding student experience which leads to progression or employment
  • To provide academic and pastoral support to students in accordance with agreed procedures
  • To participate in the College’s appraisal process and to undertake any training that may be appropriate

As our Lecturer in Aviation and Travel & Tourism, you’ll ideally have:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) English and Maths
  • Teaching Qualification or willingness to achieve within 2 years.
  • Graduate in relevant subject area
  • Minimum Level 3 or Graduate in the relevant subject area, such as L3 BTEC Travel & Tourism
  • Vocational expertise within the Travel & Tourism and Aviation Industry, including Air Cabin Crew
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including word, excel, powerpoint.
  • Current evidence-based practice in Aviation, Travel & Tourism Industry
