The post of Lecturer in Modelling of Discrete Event Processes (manufacturing and supply chain) will contribute to extending the research profile of Engineering at Exeter.The University welcomes applications which build on Exeter’s internationally recognised research strengths in this area and face our research and teaching needs within the department. The position of Lecturer in Modelling of Discrete Event Processes (manufacturing and supply chain) will be based in the Exeter Digital Enterprise Systems (ExDES) laboratory led by Prof Ion Sucala and Dr Martino Luis. The group is part of the Engineering department, led by Professor Ion Sucala ( ). Engineering currently has over 100 academic staff across our Exeter (Streatham) and Cornwall (Penryn) campuses. Academics in the Exeter Digital Enterprise Systems (ExDES) laboratory group have particular expertise in modelling and simulation applied to manufacturing and supply chain processes, statistics and machine learning applied to modelling and simulation.The department of Engineering has recently embarked on an ambitious strategy – .
