Department of Media Studies and Journalism

Extent:          20–40 hours / week

Start:              April 1st, 2024, or later by agreement

Job description: 

• teaching in Bachelor and Masters programs;
• supervision of the Bachelor and Masters theses;

Required qualifications and competencies:

• a university degree in media studies or related disciplines;
• focus on practical journalism;
• an ability to provide teaching in Czech and English;
• an ability for teamwork.

• letter of motivation;
• detailed proposal of 1 theoretical course for undergraduate students of study program Media Studies and Journalism AND 1 theoretical course for graduate students of Media studies and Journalism ;
• CV and copy of documents of education and related certificates;
• list of courses taught by the applicant and list of theses supervised by the applicant;
• list of completed training courses, foreign internships, etc. relevant for the position.
