About the role

An exciting opportunity awaits a Lead Civil Designer to join the Stantec team, based in our Perth CBD office. In this role, you will be a key contributor within our Energy & Resources division , leading both local and offshore design resources.

The position focuses on delivering a suite of sustaining capital projects for our key clients. We need someone with strong leadership skills to manage diverse teams, oversee design tasks, and maintain project standards. You will play a critical role in ensuring successful collaboration between local and offshore teams while driving project outcomes.

Qualifications

To be successful for this role you’ll need:

  • Tertiary / Vocation education in Civil Drafting &/or Design;

  • Extensive 12D design experience required;

  • Bentley OpenRoads and MicroStation;

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in Mining Industry design, particularly bulk earthworks projects;

  • Haul road design expertise;

  • Strong leadership skills;

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail;

  • Ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines; and

  • Positive, can-do attitude.
