Job Description

  • Localize how-to articles, tutorials and feature requests from English to German following our style guidelines and Wix tone of voice
  • Manage the localization of knowledge base content in German, including being responsible for updating glossaries, style guides, and collaborating with other localization teams to ensure consistent German content across touchpoints
  • Collaborate with other internal stakeholders such as subject-matter experts, product managers and other teams to gather information and ensure the accuracy of the information provided
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, communicating progress and any issues within the team
  • Deliver under tight deadlines with minimal revisions

Qualifications

  • You’re a fully proficient German speaker with at least 3 years of experience in localization of knowledge base, technical, or product content.
  • You’re a highly organized, brilliant communicator, passionate about words and localization and delivering a great experience for users
  • You can localize complex information into user-friendly language
  • You’re tech-savvy, flexible, and eager to take on multiple, challenging projects

We are Wix’s Knowledge Base team, a team of more than 30 writers who break down complicated concepts into concise, engaging text and work with multiple stakeholders to produce help articles and tutorials that address our users’ needs. We belong to the Wix Customer Care organization and use our unique understanding of Wix’s products to provide support content to over 200 million users around the world. We are also part of Wix’s Writers Guild, the connective tissue uniting Wix’s global team of 220 writers across all disciplines. 

We offer a hybrid work model, with two days a week in our Dublin office.
