IT Infrastructure Project Manager – Contract – Sheffield/Remote – £380pd (inside IR35)My client, a leading financial services organisation are on the lookout for an experienced Technology Project Manager (IT Infrastructure) to lead and deliver complex IT projects within a dynamic environment. This role requires a strong IT infrastructure background and the ability to manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and benefits realisation.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage the project approach, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and alignment with strategic goals. * Ideally strong banking backgroundLead project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, dependencies, and communications to ensure successful delivery.Work closely with Technology teams and Product Owners to enhance productivity, backlog management, and Agile maturity (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).Ensure alignment of projects with wider programme objectives and business change portfolios.Monitor and report progress, risks, dependencies, and issues to internal stakeholders, programme management, and steering committees.Provide recommendations to influence decision-making and ensure smooth project execution.Drive process discipline and improvements in Agile software delivery, production support processes, and DevOps pipeline development.Support the development and operation of the Programme Management Office (PMO) and Project Management Practices.Ensure adherence to standard governance frameworks, compliance controls, security policies, and technology architecture designs.Establish and enforce effective governance and control measures in line with the Business Transformation Framework and cross-functional DevOps coordination.Required Skills & Experience:Mandatory Skills:Project Governance & Delivery – Strong expertise in managing technology project lifecycles. * Ideally strong banking background – Retail or investment bankingBenefits Management – Ensuring alignment with business goals and expected outcomes.Project Financial Management – Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting.Project Planning & Scheduling – Developing and maintaining detailed project plans.Quality Management – Ensuring project deliverables meet agreed standards.Resource Management – Allocating and optimizing resources effectively.Desirable Skills:Experience in IT Infrastructure projects, including cloud, networking, data centers, and enterprise applications.Strong understanding of Agile frameworks and DevOps pipelines.Experience working with global teams and cross-functional business units.If you are a highly skilled Technology Project Manager with a strong IT infrastructure background and banking domain experience, proven project leadership experience, and a passion for driving successful project delivery, apply now!Randstad Digital is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
