You will manage both delivering our portfolio and creating a community of diverse specialists across the region. Reporting to the Chapter Lead, Project Management in the Global Portfolio and Programme Management Team, your mission will be to ensure that the Transformation function is executing WPP IT’s vision, while professionalising how we mobilise and deliver projects as a service.What you’ll be doing:In this role, you will play a crucial part in establishing a PPM community built on continuous learning, a support network, and a compelling career progression framework. You will be responsible for embedding a culture that has WPP’s values at the heart of how it operates.
- Oversee the mobilisation and delivery of projects across WPP IT portfolio.
- Collaborate with a diverse multi-disciplinary global team.
- Contribute to improving processes across the team.
- Support senior PPM professionals and collaborate with third parties.
- Participate in people leadership activities for the Projects they lead.
- Champion the shift to agile methodologies.
What you’ll need:
- Proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Experience as a people leader and influencer.
- Quick to learn and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Ability to build relationships by engaging and working inclusively.
- A self-starter with impeccable organisational and time management skills.
- Strategic and critical thinker.
- Brilliant communicator.
- Functional analysis skills.
- Experience in project management tools & dashboards.
- Experience in delivery methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, waterfall).
- Experience working in an Agile team is beneficial.
- Recognised Agile or Project management certifications are beneficial.
