Please do not apply if you do not have a current contract of employment with the University.Internal Applicants Only – Business AnalystWe are looking for a business analyst to support projects within the National Student Mental Health Partnership Programme (NSMHPP) office. The role will be based within the Digital Transformation and Innovation Institute supporting the development of standardising Student Mental Health data across Wales in post-16 education.The role holder should be someone with business analysis experience, who has a strong work ethic and professional pride in business analysis with an eye for detail, the ability to handle complex information and translate into clear outputs. They should be a good communicator due to the collaborative nature of the work which includes all Student Services Teams from Higher and Further Education providers.The National Student Mental Health Partnership Programme includes workstreams with all Welsh Higher Education Institutes, Further Education Institutes and NHS Health Boards. The programme is jointly funded to develop a shared programme of work which will improve access to mental health support for post-16 education students in Wales. The funding is secured until July 2025, but additional funding may be sought for the role for a longer contract under Medr, the new Commission for Tertiary Education and Research, if this is required.It is assumed this post will be based in Cardiff University, but regular visits to other partner sites are anticipated. The role may combine home working and visits to partner sites across Wales, therefore regular travel will be required.This post is full time (35 hours per week) and fixed term until July 2025.Salary: £39,347 – £44,263 per annum (Grade 6)Cardiff University offers many excellent benefits, including 37 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), pro rata for part time staff, local pension scheme, a cycle to work scheme and other travel initiatives, annual increments up the pay scale, and more.
