Who we are looking forState Street seeks to recruit an Insider Threat Investigations Manager responsible for the investigative function responding to Global Cybersecurity policy and conduct violations. This position will also be responsible for establishing the Open Source attribution capabilities within the program. This team will work with the core Global Cybersecurity teams, Global Security, Global Data Incident Management, and infrastructure teams to investigate, resolve, and recover from insider threat and DLP instances. This position requires analytic skills, creativity, quick reaction, interview experience, and technical expertise to protect the bank’s assets. Join us in evolving our insider threat investigation capabilities to shape a pro-active, threat intelligence driven fusion model to protect State Street, its customers and partners from ever evolving and sophisticated global threat actors.What you will be responsible forAs an Insider Threat Investigations Manager you will:Lead and oversee GCS Insider Investigations program, reporting to the Insider Threat Program HeadReview referrals from various sources and apply Global Cybersecurity Standards and Code of Conduct requirements to determine acceptanceManage workload allocation of Investigations team and conduct investigations when requiredDesign an Open Source attribution capability that will enhance investigative effortsCoordinate with senior leaders to obtain approvals from entities such as Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and other relevant teams to achieve program goalsBuild and maintain operating procedures and governing documentsReport on assigned controls and supporting KPIsWork closely with business units to understand people, processes, and technology to build effective strategiesIdentify and design educational requirements for the Investigations programProvide training, informational and educational materials to impacted employeesIdentify security risks and exposures, determine causes of security violations, and respond promptly to immediate risks; or work with appropriate partners to respond to persistent risksWhat we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this roleStrong understanding of Insider Threat principlesStrong understanding of investigative steps and processesStrong problem solving and analytical skillsVirtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environmentKnowledge of diagnostic and support tools used in a support environmentKnowledge and understanding of data loss analysis and identification of security eventsKnowledge and understanding of data organizing, or structuring complex data across varied data sourcesStrong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skillsEducation & Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s in criminal justice, cybersecurity, or similar degree fields that support knowledge of response and investigation activities (Required)Master’s in Business Administration, Cybersecurity, IT, or similar degree field that indicates experience/training in more advanced project and program management techniques (preferred)7+ years of experience with investigations and insider threat principles and practices in the private sector environment.5+ years of demonstratable financial sector experience5+ years of experience with open source investigations, research and analysis techniques and practices5+ years of experience using ticket tracking tools, case management tools, and project management software3+ years of experience with cyber detection platform teams such as DLP, SOC, advanced threat hunt teams, etc.Are you the right candidate?
