We currently have a vacancy for an Infrastructure System Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Design, development, tests, documentation, release control, maintenance and technical support of infrastructure software components and services matching the specifications;
• Practical validation and implementation of the solutions recommended or designed by the Software or Infrastructure Architects;
• Practical validation and implementation of the solutions recommended or designed by the Software or Infrastructure Architects;
• Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement;
• Assistance and support to Software Architects and Information System developers.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 11 years;
• Experience in component-based and service-oriented applications development or configuration;
• Experience in managing Windows Update services and endpoint management systems;
• Good knowledge of web applications, apps back-end applications, infrastructure script, or other development area, as required to perform the specified tasks;
• Knowledge of relational database management;
• Knowledge of Web and network infrastructure including VPN;
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and Docker technologies;
• Good understanding of IT security requirements and policies;
• Excellent command of the English language.
