As the Influencer Marketing Manager, you will lead Sumsub’s influencer strategy, building trusted relationships with thought leaders, industry experts, and brand advocates across various sectors. Your primary goal will be to position Sumsub as a trusted authority in compliance, crypto, verification, and fraud prevention, leveraging influencers to drive trust rather than just reach or awareness.
The ideal candidate is a strategic relationship builder with a proven track record in influencer marketing, existing rapport with field influencers and KOL and a strong ability to engage diverse influencer pools effectively.
What You Will Be Doing:
Strategic Influencer Identification & Metrics:
- Curate and expand lists of relevant influencers, fostering strong relationships with influencers across various tracks:
- Expert: Industry thought leaders in crypto, gambling, fintech, AI, and AML.
- Regulatory: Regulators, advisers, and consultants.
- Brand: Celebrity influencers and broader-spectrum advocates.
- Define metrics of influencers’ impact on engagement & reach of the target audiences and align with marketing goals and KPIs
Relationship Building & Activity Planning:

Establish and nurture meaningful relationships with expert influencers and KOL, managing both pro bono and paid engagements, supporting major products and launches

Collaborate with the GR team to design and implement activities with regulatory KOLs.

Partner with Brand and Communications teams to drive engagement with a wider group of influencers for awareness and brand campaigns.
Campaign Development & Execution:

Develop and oversee influencer-driven campaigns for product reviews, expert insights, and testimonials.

Plan and manage event-related activities engaging influencers and KOLs, including webinars, community events, speaking engagements and external events activities.

Drive brand awareness through influencer engagements at media events, social media promotions, podcast and blog collaborations, and YouTube activations.
Regulatory Advocacy:

Build rapport with KOLs in regulatory working groups, etc.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
-
Work with Product, Events, Brand, Communications, and GR teams to ensure synergy with main marketing and GR goals.

Facilitate influencer contributions to key content formats, such as product reports, blog and podcast channels.
Vendor Coordination:

Assess influencer lists provided by external vendors and oversee vendor coordination to ensure seamless project execution.
About You:
- 3+ years of experience in influencer marketing, partnerships, or related roles, in digital verification, compliance, crypto, fintech, or SaaS sectors.
- Proven expertise in managing diverse influencer pools, including industry experts, niche profiles, and celebrity advocates.
- Existing connections with experts in compliance, crypto, fintech or related industries.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to engage influencers across varying levels of expertise.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing influencer-driven campaigns with measurable impact on trust and credibility.
- Experience collaborating with regulatory influencers to support compliance and advocacy initiatives.
- Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and engagement strategies tailored to influencer marketing.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Experience with vendor assessment and coordination is a plus.
