The role: Return Material Authorisation ConsultantRate: £35,000 + BenefitsStart: ASAPLocation: Denham, onsite full timeWorking Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.15am – 4.45pmFriday 8am – 12.30pmBackground:A leading engineering business with a global reach are looking for additional support for its Logistics & Import Coordination team. Using your experience of import processes from an industrial, manufacturing or engineering environment, you will support with a range of activities including returned goods relief and Inward processing relief.Role:The Return Material Authorisation Consultant will be responsible for:· Providing clearance instructions for items sourced for internal use.· Handling items being returned for repair· Oversee the Return Material Authorisation (RMA) process, from initial customer contact to item receipt· Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, including Carriers, Freight forwarders, customs brokers, & HMRC· Manage Customs Compliance tasks, including Controlling the Inward Processing Relief (IPR) process from RMA to Bill of Discharge· Ensuring compliance with import and customs procedures, such as Returned Goods Relief, IPR for repairs, and Home Use· Work closely with import brokers to maintain adherence to customs requirements· Ensuring all shipping documents and MSS reports are accurate and compliant with customs regulations.· Collaborate with internal teams and maintain high professional standards.· Proactively communicate with external partners to resolve issuesRequirementsRequirements:· Established experience of import processes within a manufacturing environment including not limited to Returned Goods Relief, Inward Processing Relief (for Repairs), and Home Use.· Strong experience of using Microsoft Office products.· Experience of using SAP or equivalent enterprise systems experience would be beneficial (can be trained).· Be a team player, with the ability to work independently.· Have an eye for detail and getting things right.· Know how to listen and communicate effectively with others.· Committed to the highest standardsTo Apply:If you’d like to find out more about this role, please send your CV to Victoria Stevenson / or call on 0161 989 3344
