Position: ICT & ELV Design EngineerLocation: Dublin/HybridSalary: 45 – 50k DOEAn excellent opportunity has now arisen for an ICT & ELV Design Engineer to join our client, a leading Engineering contractor who specialises in Data Centre MEP Design. The role involves leading projects In EMEA from conception to handover.Benefits:

Requirements:

• Third-level qualification in any of the following areas: electronic engineering, computer engineering, information engineering or related discipline engineering/technology qualification
• 3+ years of experience working in the following sectors: high-tech, commercial, healthcare, data centres, and education
• Technical awareness (or design certifications) of VoIP Solutions, IP Networks, IPTV, AV, DAS, WiFi, PMR
• Understand EN/ISO/BS standards regulations/codes and relevant IT systems certification standards
• Experience in CAD document handling and drawing production
• Working knowledge and experience with BIM and drawing production
• Project experience in ICT and ELV infrastructure design work in the built environment
• Demonstrable CPD record in engineering/technology subjects
• Good working knowledge of MS Office applications Word, Excel, and Microsoft Projects
• Skilled communicator, through written, oral, and visual mediums
• Driven working to tight deadlines, expressing problem-solving and prioritization skills
• Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCCD) Certification (knowledge in the design, implementation, integration, and project management of telecommunications) desired but not essential.
• Project Management qualification (knowledge in methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Lean, as well as proficiency in project planning tools and software) desired but not essential.
• Must be in Ireland eligible to work and able to start in the coming weeks.
