Human Resources Manager – 5 Star Luxury Hotel CorkJob Overview:Red D are recruiting a highly efficient, well-organized, and energetic HR Manager, for five-star luxury hotel in Cork This role requires an experienced HR professional who can oversee all aspects of the human resources function within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is process-driven, approachable, empathetic, flexible, and hardworking. You should be able to remain calm in the face of challenges and enjoy the variety that the role brings. Confidence in handling employee situations on behalf of the HOD group is essential. The HR Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement, and supporting the hotel’s operational goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily HR activities with a focus on recruitment, retention, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Build strong relationships with the management team and employees, ensuring high levels of internal customer satisfaction.
- Oversee recruitment and retention strategies.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
- Coordinate training and development programs.
- Manage performance management systems in collaboration with line managers.
- Administer time and attendance systems and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular onboarding sessions and coordinate related documentation.
- Provide administrative support, including data input for training records, Garda vetting details, and leave records.
- Address internal and external HR queries professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Organize company social events and staff appreciation initiatives.
- Perform ad hoc HR and administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-4 years HR Manager experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of Irish Employment Law and HR best practices.
- High attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent time management.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
