Job Summary:

As a Human Resources Specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for our employees, addressing their issues and concerns while promoting a positive and inclusive culture. You’ll ensure all standards and procedures are met and foster a supportive work environment that embraces change and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage recruitment needs.

  • Prepare employment contract packs and perform pre-employment checks.

  • Conduct inductions and support new recruits.

  • Handle transactional administration (e.g., promotions, probationary reviews).

  • Monitor compliance with HR processes.

  • Support talent management and development programs.

  • Assist in interviews and monitor hiring decisions.

  • Communicate regularly with managers and employees to provide HR support and improve retention.

  • Drive cultural change initiatives.

  • Facilitate consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.

  • Liaise with Payroll to facilitate correct wage payments.

  • Maintain HR systems.

  • Ensure compliance with the 17025 standard by adhering to in-house quality procedures.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • A third-level qualification in HRM or a related subject (CIPD required).

  • Minimum of 3 years prior HR experience.

  • Strong “can do” attitude with creative thinking skills.

  • Highly confidential and discrete.

  • Ambitious and eager to progress in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent accuracy and speed of work.

  • Good planning and organizing skills.

  • Personable and pleasant manner.

  • Commercially aware with good negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Experienced in social networking for recruitment.

  • Experience dealing with senior management, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Excellent time management, analytical, and organizational skills.

Location and Hours:

  • Location: On-site in our Cork facility (hybrid options available after training)

  • Hours: Full-time with flexibility to manage workload independently
