We are currently recruiting an HR Business Analyst – Talent Acquisition for Boeing Defence Australia to be based in our Brisbane office. This is an amazing opportunity to combine your interest in Data and Reporting, Recruitment, Customer Experience, and aerospace for a truly memorable role.

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager – Australia & New Zealand, the primary responsibilities of the role will be regular and ad hoc reporting, compliance auditing, and oversite and super user duties for our recruitment database.

This role is a maternity leave max-term opportunity, located in Brisbane CBD until August 2025, and can be performed full-time, or part-time (min 4 days per week).

Key accountabilities

  • Generate regular (weekly, monthly, annual) & ad hoc reports; largely from Raw Data sources (HRIS & ATS) & transform into readable & meaningful user stories.

  • Collect and analyse data to develop insights and recommendations for business decisions.

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends.

  • Maintain TA data integrity by ensuring the accuracy and consistency of input data. Audit TA data and troubleshoot irregularities.

  • Partner with HR, Payroll & other business units on system upgrades and analyses.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase efficiency and effectiveness of reporting.

  • Liaise with recruiter database external vendor, for trouble shooting and continuous improvement.

  • Support diversity hiring initiatives through data insights and reporting.

Education

  • A Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Finance or similar is desired, but not essential.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Previous experience in a dedicated reporting role, creating dashboards from Raw Data is essential

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Query

  • Previous experience using a recruitment ATS is desirable

  • A background in or familiarity with HR and TA functions

  • Systems Administration & change management experience

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • A continuous improvement mindset
