The Commission for Regulation of Utilities (the CRU) invites applications for HR Administrator. As a HR Administrator, you will be part of the Human Resources team which is currently made up of a Manager, three Senior HR Generalists and two HR Officers. In the role of HR Administrator, you will provide effective administration support for recruitment, induction, performance appraisals, payroll, training and development and other HR activities. The CRU will provide the right candidate with ongoing support and training and there will be ample opportunity for professional development allowing you to maximise your potential. A shortlist of suitable candidates may be established to fill potential future positions within the organisation.Role DescriptionReporting to a Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in a varied role that will typically include but is not limited to:

  • Responding to employee queries, providing information face-to-face or via email
  • Providing support for HR recruitment activities e.g. scheduling interviews, booking meeting rooms preparing meeting materials.
  • Working with the team to support HR administration across a range of areas e.g. training applications, payroll forms, remote working, leave etc.
  • Managing HR records including creating and updating of personnel files.
  • Providing support in organising the Induction processes for all new employees.
  • Preparing and contributing to presentations and reports for HR.
  • Assisting in rollout of various initiatives included in the HR Strategy
  • Working with HR and other teams to improve processes and introduce systems to provide a user-oriented service to staff in the CRU.
  • Providing reception cover and other any other duties that are deemed appropriate by the Manager.

The ideal candidate will have the potential to develop and broaden the role. While the successful candidate will be assigned to a particular team within the CRU, they will also be expected to contribute to the work of the wider Division/CRU as requirements dictateThe CandidateEssential Criteria:Candidates must have on or before the closing date for applications the following:1. Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft M365 Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).Desirable Criteria:If it preferable that candidates have on or before the closing date for applications, the following:1. Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a HR environment2.
