ABOUT THE JOB

At Relief Applications you will join a multinational team and you’ll be responsible for managing various aspects of human resources, finance, and administrative functions within the organization. This role involves handling financial transactions, managing employee records, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all HR and Administrative matter for Relief Applications and its Spanish branch (around 30 staff and consultants in total); ensure the following tasks are completed – included but not limited to:
    • Prepare the accounting files for the French and Spanish entities so they can be transmitted to the accountant every month;
    • Ensure that all invoices are properly tagged and transmitted to the accountant;
    • Manage the recruitment and selection process (Job description publishing, interviews and tests, contracts and liaising with accounting firms drafting staff contracts);
    • Onboard and offboard personnel;
    • General HR administration (employee records, leaves, time tracking, yearly performance reviews, feedback sessions, payroll as prepared by accounting firms, etc.);
    • Day-to-day operation (budgets, planning, purchase materials and managing inventory, etc.).
  • Ensure a strong HR strategy is in place and implemented to attract and retain talents and nurture a positive working environment (including: social activities and events, team building, innovation week);
  • Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems and procedures across both entities (France and Spain);
  • Liaise with accounting firms to ensure legal compliance;
  • Maintain a cash flow overview to plan efficiently future expenditures;
  • Produce cost analysis for all projects and propose recommendations to increase efficiency

PROFILE REQUESTED

The candidate must be located in Europe.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;

Skills

  • Able to work in French and Spanish / Able to communicate in English;
  • Capacity to adapt to an international environment with legal representation in 2 countries and staff and consultants in different continents;
  • Strong autonomy;
  • Ability to learn and find solutions;
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to maintain Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience

  • Proven 5 years of experience in managing HR and Administration.
  • Experience working in an NGO is an asset

Salary range

27k to 32k for French/Spanish contract depending on experience and location

Consultant contract possible
