Responsibilities of the Hotel Bar Manager
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to consistently exceed guest expectations.
- Craft a distinctive beverage menu featuring premium spirits and signature cocktails.
- Oversee staff schedules and rosters within budget constraints.
- Design and implement training programs to elevate the expertise of your team.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene standards and update all relevant checklists.
- Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure the highest quality.
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and optimise profitability without compromising excellence.
- Handle cash transactions, card payments, banking, and detailed sales reporting.
Requirements of the Hotel Bar Manager
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a high-end bar or 4*/5* hotel.
- Valid work permit to work in Ireland.
- Exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide a passionate team.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Advanced knowledge of mixology techniques, beverage trends, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in computer applications for operational reporting.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
