As we embark on an exciting growth phase and launch new products, we are expanding our dynamic and inclusive National Specialty team to cover the SA, Tas and NT territory . This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of Amgen while engaging in three key specialty areas : Dermatology (Psoriasis), Endocrinology (Osteoporosis), and Nephrology (chronic kidney disease). With our newly PBS-listed Osteoporosis product, you have the chance to make a significant impact and drive exceptional results on your territory. We seek individuals with a strong account management focus in both public and private markets—forward-thinking, self-motivated, and accountable professionals ready to maximize each account’s potential. This permanent, full-time position reports directly to the National Sales Manager. Join us and be part of something transformative!

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Drive Sales Growth : Maximize product sales across your territory by implementing strategic initiatives and engaging with healthcare professionals.

  • Cultivate Partnerships : Build strong relationships with Endocrinologists, Dermatologists, Nephrologists, and Rheumatologists to provide value through education and support.

  • Secure Formulary Listings : Achieve formulary listings for our newly PBS-listed Osteoporosis product in hospital accounts.

  • Collaborate for Success : Develop and adapt territory and account plans with key stakeholders for optimal results.

  • Meet and Exceed KPIs : Consistently achieve customer and territory KPIs, documenting interactions in the CRM

  • Proactively Monitor the Market : Anticipate competitive threats and identify opportunities to inform strategy.

  • Proven Sales Experience : Successful field sales in the pharmaceutical industry, especially in Hospital/Specialty care, with a record of exceeding targets.

  • Specialty Knowledge : Hospital/Specialty Sales experience in Dermatology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, or Rheumatology strongly preferred.

  • Tender Familiarity : Knowledge of the QLD Hospital Tender and formulary processes.

  • Educational Qualifications : Tertiary qualifications in science or business and Medicines Australia certification.

  • Account Management Mindset : Proactive self-management and ownership of results.

  • Tech Skills : Proficiency in CRM databases and MS Office.

  • Valid Credentials : A valid driver’s license, residency, and work rights in Australia.
