Environmental, Health, and Safety (QEHS) ManagerOverview:
As the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) supervisor, you will lead the development and implementation of integrated management systems to ensure compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and health and safety requirements. You will be responsible for driving continuous
improvement initiatives, managing audits and certifications, and promoting a culture of excellence and sustainability across the organization.Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain integrated EHS management systems in alignment with relevant standards and regulations, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Lead risk assessments and hazard identification processes to minimize risks to environment, health and safety within the workplace.
- Coordinate internal and external audits to assess compliance with EHS standards and drive corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to employees at all levels on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action processes to prevent recurrence of quality, environmental, health, and safety incidents.
- Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and industry associations to stay informed of regulatory changes and industry benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Bacheloru0027s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, NEBOSH, IOSH) preferred.
- Proven experience in EHS management, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or similar industry within the Irish market.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS management systems, standards, and regulations, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant Irish legislation.
- Problem-solving orientation with a proactive approach to addressing EHS challenges and driving continuous improvement.
