Principal People is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Professional to be part of a successful and established Construction business that specialises in multi-story Construction projects.The successful candidate will be predominantly site-based covering circa 10 Construction sites between Birmingham & Leeds.You will be working within a team and report directly to the HSE Manager.This business will allow you to expand your experience and grow your career within Health, Safety & Environment for a rapidly growing Construction company.Our client is providing an opportunity for a candidate who is ideally working or has worked for a Principal Contractor and has experience with overseeing Health & Safety on High Rise or Residential Construction projects.Key responsibilities of this Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor include:
- Carrying out on-site duties including site inspections, site audits and accident investigations
- Provide expert advice and training on health, safety, environmental, and quality issues, ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with on site teams and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Attending site and office meetings when required.
The successful Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor will hold:
- Experience within Construction
- NEBOSH Construction certificate or equivalent
- Full UK Driver’s License
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Working at Height
- Temporary Works
- CSCS
- Appointed Persons
