Job Title: Health & Safety AdvisorOverview:Would you like to work for one of Ireland’s leading civil engineering contractors? Are you based in the West Dublin Area? • Develop, implement, and maintain H&S policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with H&S standards.
• Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide H&S training and support to employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of H&S legislation and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and site teams to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Prepare and submit H&S reports to senior management and regulatory bodies

Key Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within the engineering or construction sectors.
• Excellent proficiency in English, particularly in report writing and statement acquisition.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with various departments and managers.
• Proficient in drafting and delivering PowerPoint presentations and conducting ongoing toolbox talks.
• Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Manager, with occasional liaison with company directors.
