Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced & proactive Health & Safety Advisor who will be a key player in implementing and maintaining robust health & safety measures on site, ensuring a secure working environment, and leading the team in achieving safety objectives.Key Responsibilities & Requirements:Lead the development of Health & Safety leadership & culture in the workplace.Ensure full compliance with the updated local and national Health and Safety legislation pertaining to the project construction phase and offices.Develop project-specific health & safety strategies, programs, and plans in partnership with Group Health and Safety.Coordinate health and safety program elements addressing site access, security, project induction, first aid, welfare, and emergency arrangements.Establish a process of active health and safety monitoring through audits and inspections of site conditions and contractor activities.Monitor and report on health and safety performance and challenges using predefined leading and lagging health and safety performance indicators.Ensure appropriate and effective emergency response, case management, incident investigation and reporting mechanisms are in place to facilitate learning from incidents (LFI).Assist the Senior Health and Safety Advisor in preparation, review, and filing of reports, documentations, relevant health & safety permits, and subcontractor’s health and safety paperworks.Promote a strong safety culture by maintaining training matrix, engaging with employees at all levels, and encouraging active participation in safety initiatives.Participate in meetings regularly & contribute to the best of your knowledge.Degree/ qualifications in Health and Safety Management/NEBOSH or equivalent.2+ years of experience as a Health and Safety Advisor within construction/engineering preferably in commercial, infrastructure, pharmaceutical, and data centre projects.Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse complex issues with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Updated understanding of health and safety principles with proven technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines.Proven management, problem-solving & effective communication skills.The ideal candidate is eligible to work in Ireland with no visa restrictions.
