Phone: 01273 294764About the roleWe are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer to work in our Corporate Health & Safety team, supporting the council’s environmental services at Cityclean at Hollingdean Depot.This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with managers, employees, and all other stakeholders to ensure the quality and consistency of health and safety performance within their area of responsibility and across the council generally.This position requires someone with strong self-motivation and organizational skills, who is comfortable working in a complex environment, is an effective communicator, and has a proven track record of delivering excellent Health & Safety management.You should have an appropriate level of Health and Safety qualifications, ideally a NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent, and experience working in a Health and Safety role within a large organization. Good project management skills will be an advantage.Please read our pages carefully.
