Our Trust & Safety team’s commitment is to keep our online community safe. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.About the Role
As the Head of Safety & Integrity for EMEA your goal is to help drive impact within the Region and across T&S Globally. You will manage a multi-disciplinary team of analysts and program managers focused on supporting T&S’s highest priority initiatives. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in people management (management of managers), business management and cross functional collaboration, with a focus on building a strong organization, and streamlining cross-functional communication.You will act as a people manager, a consensus creator, and a strategic thought partner for the TikTok Trust & Safety team and the broader stakeholders in the region. You will use your exemplary strategic, organizational and interpersonal skills to prioritize and manage multiple programs in a manner that is both efficient and aligned with the organizational strategy. You will also help maintain clear communications across offices and functional teams including Policy, Product & Process, Risk & Response Operations, Data, Public Policy, Comms, and Legal. If you are passionate about high-level thinking, continuous improvement, program management, and on-the-ground execution, this is the role for you.
Please note, this role must be based in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
– Lead an experienced team – managers of managers including Program Management Officers, Project Managers and Analysts within the region.
– Assist and communicate with senior T&S leaders in decision-making, program management, and project implementation.
– Improve current T&S processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity in alignment with the global team.
– Anticipate and manage organisational resource needs.
– Anticipate leadership needs and provide high-level executive thought partnership and administrative support.
– Serve as the point of contact for cross-functional team members, handling issues and inquiries and developing action plans to address them.
– Help with the creation of company-wide presentations, T&S org updates, and other important metrics reports.
– Create and leverage a trusted network of key internal stakeholders to tackle strategic challenges.
– This role will involve frequent international travel.Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications
– Experienced leader in business transformation and transversal project coordination with at least ten years in people management within the global technology or internet industry.
– Clear level of knowledge and expertise across Online Regulation, specific to content and safety in Europe and globally, including the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Online Safety Bill.
– Significant experience in management of complex program management, strategic planning, business process improvement, performance management, and/or change management.
– In-depth experience in direct team management as well as organizing and directing decision-making across multiple teams and departments.
– Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills. Adept at handling sensitive information and situations with care and confidence. Proficient in leading from behind the scenes and communicating diplomatically with a variety of personality types.
– Highly entrepreneurial self-starter with the ability to react well under pressure and ambiguity. Proactively anticipates and responds to opportunities and problems before others notice them.
– Proven ability to rapidly identify problems, thoroughly analyze them, then develop and deliver pragmatic solutions.Preferred Qualifications
– Experience directly in Trust & Safety or a comparable technical field or complex global org.
