We are appointing to a new leadership role which will shape Hampshire County Council’s future strategic approach to organisational resilience. A member of the Deputy Directors People and Organisations senior team, this critical role will develop our organisational resilience through strengthening assurance, compliance, and enforcement of our Health and Safety, Emergency Planning and Resilience, Information Governance and Risk Management policies, procedures and controls.Hampshire County Council is a diverse organisation, which provides a range of different services to the residents of Hampshire, and you will provide the skills, relevant experience, and capacity we need to establish, drive and embed a renewed ‘resilience culture’ across the organisation. In particular, the Head of Organisational Resilience will support the Deputy Director to ensure that we are meeting our statutory and legislative responsibilities and contributing to the delivery of the strategic priorities that underpin our organisations vision of ‘Serving the People of Hampshire with purpose and pride to improve lives today and for tomorrow’.A champion and role model for this vision, and the values and expected behaviours that are important to us, you will identify opportunities for improvement, and create sustainable and innovative solutions which ensure services are compliant, resilient, and fit for the future.
