Osborne Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in healthcare diagnostics to recruit a Head of Manufacturing. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead a high-performing team and drive operational excellence within the industry.For you:

• Location: Swords, Dublin
• Position: Full-time
• Industry: Healthcare Diagnostics

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver key performance indicators (KPI) across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity, with a focus on fostering a zero-harm culture.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team leaders, empowering them to meet site metrics and deliver top-tier performance.
• Implement and champion continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and PDCA to enhance site productivity and performance.
• Strategically manage headcount, succession planning, and talent development, creating growth opportunities for team members.
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to drive collaborative solutions, ensuring optimal resource planning and cost savings.
• Engage with local agencies to strengthen the site’s reputation within Ireland, promoting it as a center of excellence within the global organization.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of senior management experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership in driving performance improvements, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
• Goal-oriented and strategic, with a high level of accountability, and experience in resource planning and talent development.
