This leading real estate advisor with a global presence, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance professional to take on the role of Head of Finance Governance and Assurance. Reporting to the Finance and Operations Director, the successful candidate will provide professional, high quality and independent assurance to senior leadership team around the integrity and performance of internal finance and non-finance processes with the business.Key Responsibilities

• Independently assess the performance of the business
• Develop a risk register and undertake periodic risk assessments
• Build relationships with departmental management team
• Evaluate the performance management process in place
• Establish metrics and reporting to communicate relevant financial information
• Provide recommendations for implementing best practices
• Conduct an annual review of compliance processes

Key skills and Requirements

• Qualified accountant with post qualification experience
• Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and relevant accounting standards
• Demonstrated experience in managing functions and implementing process improvements
• Ability to act autonomously with excellent organisational, planning and project management skills
• Driven and self-motivated with a hands-on practical approach
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
