Regulatory burdens are heavy and the costs of being listed can be prohibitive for any plc with revenue×Job details Posted 23 October 2024 Salary £75,000 – £85,000 + Bonus, pension, healthcare and electric car scheme LocationSheffield Job type Discipline , ReferenceAP3929929PAConsultantRegional DirectorFeaturedHead of FinanceJob descriptionSharp Consultancy are working on an exclusive basis with a high growth, investment backed business services specialist as they look to appoint a new commercial leader in finance.Our client has global coverage and is part of a well know group, with a range of products and services, utilised across a growing niche within their sector.As a result of record growth between 2022-2024 and in line with the next stage of growth throughout the remainder of 2024 and into 2026 they now need an exceptional future CFO, beginning as Head of Finance to lead across the divisions finance function, reporting directly into the Group CFO.You will work closely with the Divisional MD and senior leadership team including operations, IT, sales, marketing, and be the main lead for day to day finance, with the responsibility for a small finance team.Key duties will include;Commercial analysis and group board level reporting and delivery.Monthly management accounts.FP&A, in particular around projects and WIP.Influence and input across M&A based integrations.Control of the accounts process.MI and forecasting, including cashflow.Strategic guidance and operational directionTeam management.Process, developments including improvement and potential systems upgrades.Strong guidance towards group, including quarterly board meetings.Greater control around key external relationships including auditors, banks and insurers.Lead across year end and statutory requirements.The package is very competitive, with an excellent working environment including hybrid and flexible access, the client is Sheffield based, close to the city centre but with easy access from all regions.The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant, looking to progress quickly from Head of Finance to FD and have the necessary people skills alongside strong technical and commercial ability to blend into a strong leadership style, with the ability to guide and direct othersThis is a first class environment, both the setting and culture and you will be working within an incredible leadership team.
