Group Sales & Marketing DirectorSalary: £100k to £120k, plus up to 12% management bonus and up to £10k leadership bonusBenefits: Company Car or Car Allowance, 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after five years), UK bank holidays, Holiday Buying Scheme, and more benefits discussed at the interview stage.Location and Travel: Head Office in Oxfordshire with travel to Buckinghamshire, Birmingham, and North West Midlands. Meeting customers across the UK. Our success story is built on innovation, excellence, and a commitment to growth.The Role: As our Group Sales & Marketing Director, you’ll be a key player on our Leadership Board, shaping and driving our sales and marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the Group Managing Director, your charismatic leadership will inspire a team of 30, including five direct reports, across multiple locations.Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a forward-thinking Sales and Marketing Strategy in line with our business objectives.
- Team Empowerment: Lead and mentor your team, fostering a motivated and high-performing environment.
- Sales & Marketing Mastery: Oversee all sales, marketing, and product management activities, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
- Collaborative Synergy: Work closely with fellow directors to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
- Client Engagement: Drive growth by building strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring our services meet their evolving needs.
- Performance Excellence: Monitor and present business performance, addressing risks and opportunities with proactive measures.
- Market Expansion: Manage and set objectives for sales agents in export territories, driving international growth.
- Innovative Marketing: Lead both trade and digital marketing efforts to elevate our brand presence.
- KPI and Budget Management: Establish KPIs and manage budgets, ensuring accurate monthly reporting and financial oversight.
What You Bring:
- Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in a senior Sales Director role within a similar-sized organization.
- Sales Savvy: Demonstrated success in selling a diverse range of physical products, with keen commercial insight.
- Engaging Management: A track record of inspiring and leading teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Exceptional Communicator: Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Visionary: Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a hands-on approach.
- Results-Driven: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Technical Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, with a solid understanding of ERP systems.
- Ready to Travel: A valid passport and driving license for travel.
