Group Leader, Water & Civil – VSA is a director level role responsible for driving team and/or project profitability and growth. This is achieved by implementing and following the strategic direction and objectives of the business, effective leadership, project and client management.

Job Description

What will a day in the role look like?

• Develop a high profile with our key accounts and within our Water & Civil sector in this region.

• Develop and implement the business plan for Water & Civil, incorporating VSA and ANZ strategic objectives and initiatives.

• Managing the Water & Civil teams effectively to achieve the project objectives and liaise with clients and stakeholders to meet their expectations.

• Clearly communicate our business priorities to our teams and deliver high levels of engagement and respect in your leadership style.

• Deliver on business plan key metrics

• Successfully deliver a program of projects i.e. adequately resourced, delivered on time/on budget, client satisfaction and commercially aligned with business expectations.

• Connect with ANZ and global peers to support workshare and successful client outcomes.

• Connect our team to global technical leaders to support project positioning and client experience.

• Development of safety first and project excellence culture.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

• Knowledge of market and demonstrated experience in market engagement and work winning in the Water & Civil Industry

• Experience in successfully leading and developing teams

• Demonstrated commercial acumen, and the ability to develop a strong client base

• An effective leader with tenacity and drive to achieve outstanding results and grow the team.

• Collaborative and willingness to share knowledge, experience, ideas, and expertise for the betterment of group and self

• P&L management experience

• Relevant tertiary qualification with 15+ years of relevant experience
