Job Description Summary
The APAC Grid OS Services Leader is responsible for overseeing the plan to ensure successful transition to Grid OS and enabling delivery teams for new revenue streams. This role will ensure we have seamless transition plans, positive customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency by managing cross-functional teams and engaging with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Delivery Planning
Ensure timely planning of Grid OS transitions in particular during bid phase
Develop business case and plan to ensure we have the right resources and high-quality delivery of Grid OS projects including global delivery and partners
Monitor and report on progress, including milestones and deliverables
Strategic Planning
Align delivery goals with organisational strategy including partner play
Identify and act on growth opportunities such as Evergreen
Team Oversight
Manage and guide technical teams to ensure business performance
Ensure resource allocation aligns with Grid OS
Risk and Issue Management
Identify potential delivery risks and develop mitigation strategies including seeking the right inputs on cyber
Address technical, operational, or stakeholder issues proactively.
Customer Focus
Act as the Grid OS Success Leader
Ensure Grid OS and transitions meet or exceed customer expectations
Skills and Competencies
Technical Knowledge
Expertise in grid or distributed computing systems.
Familiarity with heritage and Grid OS platforms and associated technologies (e.g., WAMS, DMS, EMS).
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, and networking.
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for grid environments.
Project Management
Stakeholder Engagement
Exceptional communication skills to liaise with clients, technical teams, and senior executives.
Experience in managing client relationships and understanding customer requirements.
Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
Analytical mindset to address delivery challenges.
Quick decision-making capabilities to manage risks and conflicts.
Leadership
Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
Strong focus on mentoring and team development.
Financial Acumen
Budgeting and forecasting capabilities for project delivery.
Understanding of financial KPIs and profitability metrics.
