Job Description
The Role
The Ground Engineering and Tunnelling team provides services ranging from feasibility studies, detailed design and construction supervision for geotechnical works. The team supports internal and external clients on a wide variety of projects predominantly in road, rail, airports, renewable energy, commercial and industrial developments, landslip investigation and remediation throughout ANZ and the Middle East.
What will a day in this role look like:
As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer you will have the opportunity to work across a wide variety of projects which will allow the development of a broad range of skills. You will be required to share your time between site and office tasks gaining valuable experience as you work through the various phases of projects from commencement to completion. With geotechnical engineering being a part of so many projects you will interact with other design disciplines, stakeholders, end clients and contractors as the project dictates and have the opportunity for short to longer term interstate or overseas travel if you desire.

Contribute to preparing engineering services proposals and fee estimates

Assist in undertaking geotechnical site investigations and preparing reports

Contribute to undertaking geotechnical design and analysis

Contribute to preparing engineering drawings, reports and documentation and providing advice to our contractor partners during construction with supervision and guidance

Qualifications
Requirements for Success

You must have completed a relevant tertiary degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical electives before starting the 2025 Graduate Program.

You must be able to commence work by February 2025. We do consider mid-year finishers, as long as you have graduated and are able to commence by July 2025.
