Graduate Electrical Design Engineers from in and around the Co.   • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with electrical design software such as PowerFactory, CDEGs, or similar.
  • Safe Pass certification.
  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Basic understanding of HV substation design.
  • Experience or exposure to HV/MV projects during academic studies or internships.
  • Familiarity with ESB standards and engineering software like PowerFactory.

Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Skills:

  • Support senior engineers in conducting electrical studies (protection coordination, load flow, power quality, earthing, etc.) using industry-standard software such as PowerFactory and CDEGs.
  • Assist in preparing equipment specifications and technical evaluations.
  • Work closely with manufacturers to ensure that equipment designs are in line with project specifications.
  • Aid in the design of protection and control schemes for HV/MV systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, including substation layouts, elevations, and lightning zones.
  • Collaborate on the creation of panel schematic drawings using EPLAN.
  • Participate in on-site inspections and testing of electrical installations.
  • Help compile Risk Assessments and Method Statements to meet safety requirements.
  • Support attendance at FATs for HV switchgear, transformers, and protection cabinets.
  • Assist in tender documentation preparation and technical report writing.
