Team/Role Overview:
Client Program Management Office is an organisation of project management professionals who partner with our clients to onboard them onto the Services Global Network. Projects that involve the Client PMO are normally non-standard, complex treasury and trade solutions that require extensive project/change management skills. We partner with Sales, Product, Operations, Technology and Service to facilitate these projects which are large, multi-product and or multi-region treasury transformation programs.
What you’ll do:

Being the Single Point of Contact of coordination and successful delivery of client’s global technical projects. Overseeing the execution and completion of the various technical work streams of the project across the globe.

Overall end to end responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, and completion of technical integration solutions.

Designs the optimal approach for integrating client business platforms with the Services business and drives the execution of the resulting solution.

Establishing appropriate governance model for these highly complex technical projects involving multiple teams on both Citi and Client side.

Identifying and forming strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Obtaining agreement and signoffs on all objectives and milestones with the stakeholders.

Proactively assessing and managing (a) appropriateness of solutions and (b) risks across all regions / products / work streams. Ensuring timely escalation and mitigation of the risks to avoid impact to the project delivery.

Diligently creating and managing relevant project governance document repository ranging from, Project Plans, Risk Register, Issue Log, Status Trackers, and various other PM artefacts to provide clear communication, transparency, and updates to the extended project team.

Reporting including status reports/trackers, executive summaries, and steering committee decks. Be able to effectively deliver the key message around the project updates/risks to business and senior leaders.

Orchestrating the execution of the technical project plan across multiple leads, implementers, vendors, and consultants in different groups such as Operations, Technology, Legal, Product, Sales, and many others in multiple geographical locations.

Creating metrics and monitoring/reporting Project Status on a regular basis. Abstracting the key details and business relevance to make the updates meaningful for a wide range of audience including senior executives.

Managing scope through change control process. Being flexible while setting clear expectations after careful analysis of the scope change.

Ensuring effective transition from implementation/onboarding to production and supports as escalation for channel related issues.

Participation in client presentations and demos and engages in RFPs and solutioning of new technical initiatives.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department initiatives to implement process enhancements.
What we’ll need from you:

Prior independent experience of leading large technical projects with executive visibility and industry experience with large MNCs.

Technology or application/ systems experience.
-
Results orientation – evidence of proactively driving projects to conclusion.
-
Flexibility – ability to manage a varying workload (i.e., volume, complexity, and composition). Ability to manage complex integration solutions, working alongside Technical and Technology teams.

Good work ethic – willingness to take a “hands on” approach to ensuring all elements of the solution are delivered as specified. Attention to detail and experience of working in a controlled environment.

Proven track record of consistently strong performance and excellent project delivery.

Client relationship management skills and strong customer focus and past achievements applying a customer mindset to shape solutions and meet financial goals.

Strong leadership skills: ability to promote team building and develop strong partnerships with other teams with the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

Ability to effectively manage and navigate through multi-faceted disciplines throughout the organisation.

Strong Influential skills to manage virtual teams.

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.

Negotiation and decision making/problem solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Project, VISIO, SharePoint, and other workplace productivity tools.

Proficient in Microsoft Office products.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-
PMP certification (or equivalent) required. However, if no certification this must be attained within the first six months of commencing the role.
