403906 Global Medical Insights & Impact LeadWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Global Medical Insight specialist to lead the systematic generation of actionable insights from a variety of data sources as the Medical Affairs team engages with the HIV community, primarily healthcare professionals (HCPs). This role involves analyzing medical voice of the customer (mVoC), market research, social media listening, and developing an insight generation plan that informs the annual asset plans.   • Develop & implement the insight generation strategy ensuring insights generated are aligned with strategy and are both actionable and impactful.
  • Act as a thought-partner to Global Medical Asset leads (GMLs , GML-Lead, director, senior director, VP level roles) and the wider asset teams in identifying opportunities for growth with a focus on the medical unmet needs.
  • Support the development of annual asset plans by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Stays abreast of the latest scientific advancements, emerging technologies, and therapeutic approaches ensuring this knowledge is embedded within the insight generation approach adopted. This also includes sharing this knowledge in a useful manner with stakeholders to increase efficiency and robustness in insight generation.
  • Represents the area of medical insight expertise on cross functional teams or initiatives.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to insight generation and utilization.

Stakeholder Management

  • Lead effective consultation across functions for insight generation (e.g., medical, commercial, patient, evidence generation, and clinical) to further accelerate and drive actionable and measurable insight generation.
  • Drives accountability for insight generation into asset teams at global, regional and local teams level by providing leadership, mentoring, and coaching to Global, Regional & Local teams for insight generation, ensuring that they are motivated, engaged, and performing (using quality related KPIs) to a high standard of insight generation so ensuring scientific accuracy, integrity, and robustness of the collected data and derived insights.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to discuss insights and their implications for strategic planning and execution.
  • Act as a liaison between Medical Affairs and other departments to ensure seamless integration of insights into operational plans.

Analytical expertise

  • Quantitative & Qualitative analytical expertise along with ability to develop insights using different types of data sources (e.g. mVoC, social media, advisory board, market research, social listening etc.)
  • Utilize advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Embed the existing impact framework across priority assets and provide appropriate narrative to GMLs for reporting.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive medical insight generation plan to ensure insights are effectively integrated into asset annual plans.
  • Effectively communicate complex data into meaningful actionable insights to internal stakeholders, senior management, and external scientific communities as part of a global organization.

  • Demonstrate the ability to understand technology to adapt and embed different technology within ways of working in a creative and fluid way to drive efficiency, effectiveness and impact in your work.

  • Relevant therapeutic area expertise (Infectious diseases – HIV)
  • MSc or PhD (or equivalent) in a related or relevant field
  • Varied Healthcare/Pharma industry experience with strong experience in Medical Affairs, Market Research, Data Analytics, or a related field within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in generating and leveraging medical insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Experience with data analytics and visualisation tools and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in social media listening tools and techniques.
