We are seeking a Practice Manager due to the planned retirement of our long-standing Practice Manager. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our dedicated team which includes a deputy Practice Manager & an administrative team.Main duties of the job

  • Strategic planning and development, contributing to the practice’s business plan.
  • Financial management, including budgeting, payroll, financial reporting, liaising with accountants.
  • Human resources management, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Operational management, ensuring efficient appointment systems, and IT infrastructure.
  • Compliance and governance, ensuring adherence to CQC standards, GDPR, and health and safety regulations.
  • Patient services management, addressing patient feedback and complaints.
  • IT and data management, ensuring data security and effective use of practice systems (EMIS web, Docman, Accurx).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound financial management skills. Good financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
  • A proactive and problem-solving approach.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures.
  • Experience as a GP Practice Manager or in a management role within a management sector.
