Job description
We currently have a vacancy for a Full-Stack Developer (Java, Angular) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:
- Development and integration of technological components;
- Elaboration of test programs and integration with other applications;
- Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system;
- Development of front-end website architecture and back-end website applications;
- Design of user interactions on web pages and creation of servers and databases for functionality;
- Implement core business logic while understanding and implementation of security and data protection;
- Design responsive applications and develop APIs;
- Participating in the design and creation of scalable software and writing clean, functional code on the front- and back-end;
- Compile and analyse data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 17 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- In depth knowledge of HTML 5, CSS 3, Java 8 and Java 11;
- Experience with Spring, including Core, JPA/Hibernate, Security and MVC;
- Experience working with Angular and NPM;
- Experience with Spring Boot Test, jUnit and Mockito;
- In depth knowledge and skills on using Continuing Development / Continuing Integration techniques, knowledge of source code control repositories (GIT/Bitbucket/SVN/TFS) and build tools such as Maven and Gradle;
- In depth knowledge of Relational DBMS (Oracle 8+ and MySQL 5+);
- Experience working with the Atlassian Suite, JIRA, Confluence and Bamboo;
- Good knowledge of Agile principles and interoperability technology (REST, SOAP, Service Oriented Architecture, Spring Web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus);
- Good knowledge of design principles such as SOLID, IDEALS and CQRS;
- Knowledge of UML, in particular use case diagrams, state transition and activity diagrams;
- Excellent command of the English language (good understanding of French would be considered an asset).
