By joining the Technology Consulting team, you will work in high-performing teams that deliver exceptional client service, enabling organizations to grow, innovate, protect, and optimise their business performance – playing your part in building a better working world.Your key responsibilities:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with an expertise in Payments and Cards. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding business needs, defining requirements, and analysing complex processes to implement effective banking and/or credit solutions.
- Work with FS clients to develop and prioritise requirements (epics and user stories) in payments and cards domain.
- Work with FS clients to develop supporting design documentation e.g. process maps, decision papers, customer journey artefacts, business cases.
- Have experience in using collaboration tools like confluence and JIRA.
- Help clients align project outcomes with technology/business strategy by acting as an intermediary between business and technology stakeholders.
- Work with Product owner and scrum team members to drive your requirements (epics and user stories) through the full delivery lifecycle (design, build, test and deploy)
- Prepare, review, and analyse testing / test phase outputs e.g. test scenarios, defect triage etc.
- Resolve moderate to high complexity issues that occur during the functional design process.
- Become a subject matter resource for Payments and/or Cards domain.
- Be a key team player in supporting other project deliverables e.g. training, non-functional testing, data mapping.
- Stay abreast of the latest payment industry trends to drive innovation within the company.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- 5+ years of strong experience in business analysis, requirement elicitation and writing epics and user stories with a focus on payment and cards systems.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management
- Have knowledge and proven experience of working with IT Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (SDLC) including Waterfall & Agile
- Excellent understanding of European payments schemes e.g. SEPA.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
- Have a strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in IT or relevant field.
- Agile certification (CSPO) and/or BA certifications e.g. IIBA
