It will be your primary responsibility to greet all clients and visitors in person and over the phone, assisting them with any appropriate information that they need whilst also maintaining a high level of confidentiality. You will also be part of the Travel Team and assist with the processes for Group business travel bookings across UK, European and Worldwide locations.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of a multi-line switchboard dealing with calls politely and professionally, forwarding calls to respective personnel and departments as required.
  • Greeting of Visitors, Clients, and Contractors professionally and determine the nature and purpose of their visit.
  • Responsibility for managing Meeting Room System and organising Client Refreshments etc
  • Monitor visitors’ access and issue electronic visitor passes.
  • Administration support for Managing Director.
  • Consolidating multiple Credit Card monthly statements on behalf of the Travel Department.
  • Assisting the Travel Dept. with overflow booking of Flights, Ferry Crossings, Hotels, Rail, Taxi & Hire Cars and issuing documentation to Travellers
  • Sort daily outgoing mail, messages and ad hoc deliveries.
  • Performing ad hoc duties as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONSProven experience in a similar role holding a minimum of 3-5 years exposure in a comparable position.
Proven experience of working in a highly Professional Environment.In addition, the successful candidate will have:

  • Excellent Admin skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is Essential
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail is Essential.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage, prioritise and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.
  • High personal motivation and enjoy a busy working environment.
  • Work well as a member of the Team, as well as working well independently.
  • The ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of Travel Booking Procedures would be preferred but not essential.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Travel or Business-related degree is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing / engineering environment
