Front End Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled frontend developer to join our team and help develop a react native social media app. As a front-end developer, you will be responsible for implementing modern user interfaces and ensuring a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of React Native and be proficient in React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Additionally, experience with Redux and Firebase is highly desirable. Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with the design team to implement UI/UX designs

– Develop reusable components and front-end libraries

– Optimize app performance and improve usability

– Troubleshoot and debug issues

Requirements:

– Proven experience in frontend development

– Proficiency in React Native, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

– Familiarity with Redux and Firebase

– Strong problem-solving and communication skills

– Experience working within an agile team

– Flexibility to meet with team members on both the East and West Coast

– Ideally, this candidate could dedicate about 10-15 remote hours per week with most availability

between 9am-5pm EST

– Good communication skills, we’re a fully remote team and typically rely on slack and email for

communication. We work in a mostly agile fashion and try to communicate updates regularly via slack,

email, and in-person meetings

Hourly rate is between $45-100 per hour based on experience level.
