Overview:PepsiCo is hiring a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team in Cork on a permanent basis.This is a backfill role for a vacancy that has arisen in the Central COGS Finance Team to partner with our Strategic Ingredients function. This role is an integral role to implement FP&A’s finance business partnering model and vision.This is a highly visible role requiring an exceptional level of senior stakeholder collaboration across both FP&A and Procurement. It is imperative that this person can work on their own initiative, build strong relationships and add commercial value through effective financial business partnering. This role reports to the Central COGS FP&A Finance Manager.Finance associates at PepsiCo embody four key roles that create value for our business: Enhance enterprise value as a ‘Trustee’, deliver sustainable performance and results as an ‘Integrator’, reshape the business as a ‘Catalyst’ of change and set the long-term strategy as a ‘Navigator’. Responsibilities:Primary Accountabilities

  • Finance Business Partner lead for Strategic Ingredients category within PGCS Procurement;
  • Lead and delivery of detailed Annual Operating Plan (AOP), partnering with the Strategic Ingredients team;
  • Drive on-going business requirements including financial planning, commercial decision support, productivity, volume, vendor support, brand and sector analysis, BCP scenarios etc;
  • Ownership of monthly/quarterly forecasts for Strategic Ingredients category. Working on own initiative with business stakeholders to react to changes vs plan and prior year, driving actions that feed in to sector guidance issued by PGCS;
  • Developing, leading and driving the PGCS data and analytics journey, delivering dashboards, scorecards and reporting suites to enable fast and effective decision making;
  • Ownership and responsibility for the joint finance and procurement PPV Standard Costing process. Ensuring quick and appropriate corrective course action taken where there are deviations to expected cost (better or worse);
  • Leading the month and period end close activities, including actuals, plan and forecast reporting;
  • Finance lead for category ingredient volume and working capital / inventory support. Acting as an owner, driving management actions, reporting, recommendations and course corrections;
  • Collaborating and working closely with local plant finance teams (China, India, Pakistan, Singapore/Ireland and US/Arlington).

Qualifications:Key Skills / Experience Desired

  • Excellent leadership capabilities with a demonstrated track record of high integrity and trust, and an ability to engage business stakeholders and team members;
  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with, influence and present to senior organisational levels;
  • Commercially focused, with a great track record of identifying opportunities, supporting strategic projects and successfully implementing process improvements;
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with a high degree of ambiguity and constant change;
  • Must be a self-starter with proven ability to use own initiative and drive actions and results;
  • A proven track record in preparing and delivering annual financial plans and forecasts;
  • Have a deep understanding of the business drivers of a commercial organisation;
  • An ability to design, build and use visual reports, scorecards and dashboards to deliver messaging up to Director level (e.g. power BI);
  • An ability to interpret big complex data sets, drawing conclusions, recommendations and insights in a simplified manner;
  • Strong financial acumen and financial modelling capabilities with an emphasis on attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Strong SAP, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Suite application skills;
  • Minimum five years’ PQE with relevant experience;
  • A third-level accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
